Production Leading Hand | Metroll Sunshine Coast Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of metal building products, servicing both residential and commercial markets. With a strong national presence, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service.  We’re looking for a hands-on Production Leading Hand to join our Sunshine Coast team and lead our manufacturing operations.  About the Role As the Production Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will lead a team of production staff, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.  This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems, and motivating a team to achieve results.  Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of production staff to meet daily and weekly targets Ensure manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Coordinate production schedules and workflow to meet customer demands Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives Foster a positive and collaborative team culture   Working arrangement: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm  About you Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally steel or metal fabrication Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Knowledge of health and safety practices in a production setting Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills Hands-on approach and willingness to get involved on the shop floor  What we offer Be part of a growing, innovative company in the steel industry Work in a collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive salary and benefits package   If you’re ready to step up and lead a dynamic production team, we’d love to hear from you.
