ABOUT THE POSITION
Product Testing Manager at BURGA is more than just a title - it's a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that's taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, product launches, and manufacturing milestones will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role:You will be the founding force behind our brand-new testing lab at our Kaunas manufacturing facility - building it from the ground up and establishing the standards, processes, and frameworks that ensure every BURGA product that reaches our customers is nothing short of exceptional. From prototype to production, your work will directly shape the quality and integrity of everything we make.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the setup, calibration, and commissioning of our new testing lab, including equipment selection, layout planning, and SOP development.
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for new and existing products, covering durability, drop resistance, material integrity, print and finish quality, and fit & function.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to test prototypes at every development stage and deliver structured, actionable feedback.
Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on defective or underperforming products, driving continuous improvement.
Define and implement quality benchmarks and testing frameworks that scale with our growing product pipeline.
Maintain accurate, traceable test records, reports, and certifications, and communicate findings clearly across teams.
Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) processes by defining testability requirements early in development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in product testing, quality engineering, or an R&D lab environment.
Hands-on experience operating and maintaining lab testing equipment, and familiarity with test standards relevant to consumer products (drop/impact, UV exposure, adhesion, chemical resistance).
Proficiency in writing test plans, protocols, and technical reports
Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) methods and quality control tools.
A passion for quality, craftsmanship, and building things that last in a brand where the product is everything.
A track record of working in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments, with the ownership mindset to create structure and processes where none exist yet.
Strong communication skills - comfortable translating complex technical findings into clear insights for cross-functional teams.
SALARY: 3300- 4200 EUR/Month GROSS. We're open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
