CORE JOB DUTIES Oversee daily hand trim and machine trim operations to ensure consistent quality and throughput. Adhere to quality standards for trim appearance, structure, and finish across all methods. Ensure machine settings, throughput, and maintenance schedules align with product quality requirements. Coordinate trim operations with harvest, drying, curing, and packaging schedules. Manage trimming operations across multiple shifts. Assign and coordinate leads or supervisors per shift to ensure continuity and accountability. Ensure consistent training, expectations, and performance standards across all shifts. Provide regular shift‑to‑shift communication and handoff documentation. Set clear productivity, quality, and attendance expectations. Address performance issues promptly and professionally. Foster a respectful, safe, and high‑accountability work environment. Ensure all trimming activities comply with company SOPs and state regulations. Maintain accurate batch tracking, chain‑of‑custody records, and production documentation. Conduct regular quality checks and address deviations in real time. Track and report key metrics. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, ergonomics, and quality across trim methods. Partner with maintenance to support trimming equipment care and uptime. Oversee State required batch testing with schedule adherence. Recommend equipment, process, or layout improvements.
