Description
A Friendly client operating in the Oil & Gas / Energy sector is currently looking for an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join their engineering team. Your profile: • Degree in Chemical/Process/Petroleum Engineering or a related field. • 8+ years of professional experience as a Process Engineer (preferably in the Oil & Gas industry). • Experience in site activities (desirable). • Professional references and familiarity with preparing all process design documents within the PCS Discipline. • Experience with process simulation software’s (i.e., ASPEN (Hysys, Flarenet), Pro II, AFT impulse, HTRI, Pipenet transient, OLGA etc.). • Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (API, ASTM, ASME etc). • Proficiency in English • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • AutoCAD proficiency; Certificate of Professional Exam & Engineering Design License What you’ll do: • Analysis of project specifications, tender and proposals requirements. • Contribution to the development of design parameters and methodologies. • Manage and lead the activities of a Processes discipline team on projects. • Training and mentoring the team and developing their skills. • Preparation of technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost & time effective discipline engineering analysis and solutions for approval: Design basis Process description PFD’s and heat & material balance MSD and material selection philosophy Process and Utility P&ID’s Process Control Philosophy Equipment & instrumentation Datasheet Utilities and chemicals consumption summaries Simulations and calculations • Support to all project activities, from engineering to start-up, as required. • Interface with other engineering disciplines and design team(s). • Assistance in the development of a process knowledge database for studies, projects and/or operations (capturing and reporting events & experiences within studies, projects & operations and writing of technical notes). • Participation in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up on site.
