Description
Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with delivering the company’s vision of a fully electric transportation future. EVDD is customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial, and data-driven and is dedicated to delivering industry-leading customer experience for electric vehicle buyers and owners.
The Core Modeling and Simulation Team drives Ford’s virtual-first validation strategy. We design and maintain high-fidelity, real-time plant models that represent engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and batteries. Through a modern software workflow (Git, Jira, CI/CD) and distribution as FMUs, we enable MIL/SIL/HIL testing across ICE, Hybrid, and BEV programs. This team is the cross-functional hub for physical modeling, providing scalable, reusable solutions that accelerate safe, high-quality vehicle development.
