BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.     THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING BGE OFFICES: TAMPA, SARASOTA, VERO BEACH, WEST PALM BEACH Responsibilities:   Prepares and calculate subdivision plats and site plans Assists in peer reviews and feedback of work products Prepares abandonment applications Prepares special request applications Prepares formal feasibility reports Attends agency review meetings Attends public meetings Effectively communicates and coordinates with both internal and external clients Coordinates with agency team members on all platting / abandonment applications Assists with preparation of contracts Mentors less experienced team members   Requirements:   High School Diploma required; Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.  5+ years of related work experience as a Platting Coordinator or Technician. Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Strong organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Thorough understanding of subdivision platting process Thorough understanding of agency regulations Capable and willing to drive personal vehicle throughout region.   Some of our Benefits: 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting Merit-Based Bonus Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays Personal Time Allowances  2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
