About the role:
As a Platform Engineer at Nintex you are highly skilled in the technology stacks within your domain and bring strong working knowledge of tools and practices across the broader DevOps ecosystem. You will design and build code, testing, and operational solutions that incorporate monitoring, observability, and feedback loops to support reliable implementation and operation. You will lead the rollout of complex infrastructure components and act as a key contributor in the support and operation of critical production systems.
Your contribution will be:
Contribute to long-term DevOps programs and core technologies.
Design, build, and maintain tools and utilities that support and integrate with CI/CD pipelines, including appropriate telemetry and monitoring.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments.
Actively build, shape, and promote infrastructure architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
Advocate for a strong DevOps culture at Nintex, bringing a DevOps mindset and perspective to all projects.
Independently deploy medium to large infrastructure components to production using automation, while adhering to Nintex development and deployment guidelines.
Write thorough post-mortems for infrastructure, pipeline, and automation incidents, including clear root cause analysis and preventative actions.
Design and develop code and scripts with quality, maintainability, and reliability in mind, using appropriate tools and processes to ensure highstandards.
Clearly explain DevOps concepts, patterns, and practices to other engineers, enabling them to contribute independently.
Contribute to advanced DevOps initiatives such as continuous integration improvements, new infrastructure platforms, and automated incident mitigation.
Embed security into every project by ensuring it is considered throughout design, implementation, and operational processes.
Ensure all solutions adhere to Nintex guidelines for security, disaster recovery, scalability, availability, reliability, and durability.
