Description
Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion! Funny name, serious business We are a leading eco-friendly household essentials business and we donate 50% of our profits to help everyone gain access to clean water and a toilet. As of June 2024, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD to this mission. Basically, we’re really good at making it easy to do good. We operate scaling businesses the UK, US and Australia (Canada, soon). Our amazing team is based in Australia, the UK, the Philippines, China, and the US. Our 250+ people to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next 5-10 years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services. A bit about the role As our Platform and Enablement Engineer , you are the ultimate facilitator for our internal teams. Nestled within our IT  team, your mission is to turn great ideas into tangible outcomes. You will be our hands-on builder, focusing on reducing technical friction across the business by scaling system integrations, building internal tooling, and designing rapid prototypes. This isn't about experimenting in a vacuum; it’s about enabling safe, scalable adoption of automation and AI to supercharge how we work. By connecting our SaaS products and building robust AI interfaces, you'll help our global team move faster, work smarter, and make an even bigger impact. If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in Bridging the AI Gap: Built a high-fidelity prototype that allowed our team to safely test a new LLM framework within our secure internal infrastructure. Orchestrating APIs: Audited our existing internal tools and removed a major workflow bottleneck by designing a cleaner, more robust API connection between Slack, Jira, and our ERP. Running Fast Sprints: Managed your own rapid-response sprint cycle to unblock an urgent automation request from our "AI BuildSquad" without derailing long-term platform stability. Collaborative Problem Solving: Sat down with non-technical stakeholders to actively listen to their manual workflow pain points, translating their business needs into a "quick-win" automation prototype. Scaling Up: Took a successful, lightweight automation experiment you built last month and proactively evolved it into a production-ready, secure capability. Let’s talk about you You love building bridges (and APIs) You have a strong, practical understanding of AI tools and LLMs, and you know how to apply them pragmatically to solve real-world business problems. You are highly skilled at designing scalable connectors between various SaaS products, and you embed security-by-design into everything you build—ensuring safe data handling and proper application permissions are never an afterthought. You’re a strategic, agile problem solver You know how to balance the need for speed with long-term platform stability. You are comfortable managing your own prioritization, ensuring high-impact initiatives move fast while maintaining strict security guardrails. An excellent communicator, you enjoy nurturing relationships with IT Ops and Engineering squads to keep your enablement projects perfectly aligned with broader platform patterns. You give a crap Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too! Why should you work with us? First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.
