Who we are looking for A proven leader who will lead the expansion of our business into a new facility, new capabilities, and new high-volume production as we continue to rapidly grow our product mix, customer engagements, team members and facilities footprint. The ideal candidate has operational experience with manufacturing at scale, strong business acumen, a continuous improvement mentality, excellent coaching and motivational skills. Experience with advanced manufacturing, composites, aerospace, and/or defense technology are a plus. Prior experience with facility expansion and large scale capital projects is also preferred, as is experience working in a complex environment that includes front-end engineering customer designs and requirements for production. What you get to do Lead the launch of a new production facility for high volume production and expansion of technical capabilities, ensuring continuity of production for current high-volume product lines and launch of new business. Manage the P&L - develop budgets, financial plans, and performance metrics, giving regular updates on progress and critical path items. Use financial metrics effectively to drive business improvements. Support the execution of commercial strategies, including engagement with government relations and business development resources. Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team with a strong, positive operating culture, including Operations, Engineering, Technical Development, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure a high level of performance. Develop and implement operational strategies, priorities, and activities to ensure delivery on customer commitments and attainment of production, quality, and profitability objectives.
