About the Role  Talarico for Texas is hiring a People Operations Manager to join James Talarico's US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position ideal for a highly organized and people-oriented professional who enjoys building strong internal systems and team culture. The People Operations Manager will oversee staff lifecycle operations and work closely with the Deputy Operations Director to cultivate a collaborative, and mission-driven workplace across the campaign. Responsibilities Lead people operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and staff support Manage staff records, documentation, and personnel processes Support hiring and recruitment logistics, including job postings, and candidate communication  Serve as point of contact for staff inquires related to policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns  Maintain and communicate internal policies, procedures, and staff expectations  Support compliance with campaign employment practices and reporting requirements Build and maintain systems that improve human resource organization, communication, and operations across the campaign  Requirements Qualifications  2+ years of experience in political campaigns, government offices, people operations, or other relevant experience Strong organizational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail  Exhibits discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with nontraditional hours, reflecting the pace and demands of a statewide campaign Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign Benefits Reports to: Deputy Operations Director Location: Austin, Texas  Salary: $6,000 - $7,000 per month Benefits: Health care, paid time off, sick leave Talarico for Texas is an equal opportunity employer.
