Pediatric Provider – Outpatient Location: Community Health Center, Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM   Organization Overview   Community Health Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care for underserved populations. Our mission is to ensure every child receives comprehensive healthcare services. We specialize in community pediatrics, serving a diverse patient population with a focus on holistic, family-centered care.   Role Summary   The Pediatric Provider is responsible for delivering day-to-day outpatient pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents. Reporting to the Medical Director, the provider will work primarily in a clinic setting, engaging with patients aged 0-18 years.   Key Responsibilities Deliver primary/specialty care to infants, children, and adolescents Conduct well-child visits, immunizations, screenings, and developmental assessments Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions Order and interpret diagnostics; prescribe and manage treatment plans Counsel and educate families/caregivers Document in the EHR and meet quality/coding standards Collaborate with the care team and coordinate referrals Participate in on-call rotation and supervise APPs/residents as applicable Qualifications Education: MD/DO (or MSN/DNP for NP; relevant master's for PA) Licensure: Active state medical/APRN/PA license (or eligibility) Board certification/eligibility: ABP / pediatric NP (PNP-PC) / NCCPA as relevant Required: DEA registration, BLS/PALS (and NRP if newborn/inpatient) Experience: New grads welcome; experience in a similar setting preferred Preferred Skills & Competencies Strong family communication and bedside manner EHR proficiency, preferably with Epic or Cerner Bilingual skills are a plus; experience with specific populations or conditions Schedule, Setting & Logistics   Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with occasional call duties. The provider will manage a patient panel size of approximately 20-25 patients per day, supported by a collaborative care team model.   Compensation & Benefits   Competitive salary with potential sign-on bonus and loan repayment options.
