We are looking for a Payments Intern that is excited about the below Mission and Outcome. Mission : To support the payments operations team by assisting with transaction monitoring, process optimization, and data-driven insights — ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient payment flows for merchants and customers. Outcomes:   Operational Support & Accuracy Process Improvement Project Data & Insights Contribution Compliance & Risk Awareness Cross-Functional Collaboration & Learning The Payments Intern will support the day-to-day operations, analysis, and continuous improvement of the payment product, the Sleek Business Account, within Sleek. The role is designed to give the intern hands-on exposure to transaction flows, reconciliation, payment systems, compliance requirements, and merchant support within a fast-paced financial technology environment. Your role will be to: Assist in the monitoring, reconciliation, and settlement of daily payment transactions (card, bank transfer, digital wallets, etc.). Help investigate payment exceptions, delays, or discrepancies, and support resolution with internal teams or external partners (banks, acquirers, processors). Assist in preparing management insights on payment costs, revenue optimization, customer payment behavior. Learn and assist with the application of AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, and regulatory requirements in payment operations. Help maintain and review documentation for compliance audits or risk assessments. Map and document existing payment processes, identifying inefficiencies or manual dependencies. Work closely with the Product, Compliance, Customer Success, and Tech teams to ensure seamless payment journeys for our clients. Assist with any ad-hoc tasks. Requirements To be applicable for this role,  you will need to be located in Singapore and be able to commit to a 6-month internship period. As a Payments Intern, you will contribute to the growth of our fast-evolving payments product, supporting our efforts as we scale our operations, enhance features, and deliver exceptional service and value to our clients.
