Description
Job Purpose Trough 1st level inspection on production and equipment, the patroller has to detect and report possible deviations to ensure that equipment and operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities • Review equipment and production conditions according to job plans. • Monitor, report and record any incident, abnormality or deviation based on an appropriate checklist. • Take immediate corrective actions when possible. • Identify and undertake minor maintenance repair and adjustments. • Support Root Cause analysis and propose improvement actions. • Ensure lubrication levels of machines are in accordance with manufacturers specifications. • Carry our accurate stock measurements safely and report to the production shift supervisor and CRO. Ensure additives and raw materials are available at the designed areas and in correct quantity. • Manually start standby equipment and ensure they operate properly or stop equipment and report any abnormality according to working procedure. • Comply with all safety and environmental regulations. Lock out in case of emergencies, manage first level emergencies and give first aid (Level 1). • Behave in accordance with the 11 rules established by the group. • Check lists and inspection routes. • Craft skill toolbox. • Ensure that housekeeping of plant is according to standard and report poor housekeeping practices. Qualifications & Requirements • Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. • Craft skills (mechanical skills) and three years' experience in a maintenance execution team or a production environment. • Previous experience in a cement plant, mining, manufacturing, or industrial environment is an added advantage. • Basic understanding of industrial equipment and plant operations. • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. • Good communication and reporting skills. • Ability to work in shifts and under minimum supervision. • Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment • Working knowledge of Excel, Word
