J ob Description: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases across on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and cloud database services. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database environments Manage database instances in on-premise and cloud (OCI / AWS / Azure) Perform backup and recovery using RMAN Monitor database performance and tune queries for optimization Implement and manage High Availability (HA) solutions (RAC, Data Guard) Ensure database security, patching, and compliance Handle database migrations (on-prem → cloud) Troubleshoot production issues and provide 24/7 support when required Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting / tools Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams 🛠️ Required Skills Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c) Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL Hands-on experience with: RMAN (backup & recovery) Data Guard / RAC Performance tuning (AWR, ASH reports) Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems Experience with cloud platforms : Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AWS RDS / Azure DB (good to have) Understanding of networking, storage, and infrastructure concepts
