Overview Bassett Healthcare Network , is seeking an Optometrist to join our staff. Salary Range: $150,000 - $184,483 Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000 Location: Cooperstown, NY Training Stipend: up to $40,000 Job Description & Responsibilities Join an established group of 5 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists.  High quality clinical environment with state-of-the-art equipment Comprehensive Optometric Practice: Routine eye exams, diagnosis and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, cataract, cornea disease, diabetic retinal exams and monitoring age-related macular degeneration. Provide urgent care during clinic hours. Day Call – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM some weekdays Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
