We strive to do more with less, be more efficient and make the most of what we have.   ROLE OVERVIEW 📝 The Night Shift Manager is a frontline execution role, responsible for executing night-sortation, as well as evening preparation for night operations. The role focuses on supervising handlers, allocating work, exception handling, area readiness, asset preparation, and data accuracy, preventing operational debt from rolling into the following day. Role is accountable for accurate execution, monitoring, and early escalation.   WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 🚀 - Lead evening, pre-night depot activities - Ensure area readiness: yard, locations, belts, devices, scanners. Prepare magnums, pallets, cages, and equipment for Night Shift. - Support Night Ops Manager to run inbound, scanning, sorting, and routing-prep activities with speed and accuracy: - Coordinate handlers in the right activities monitoring productivity and coaching quality. - Train new handlers in the required tasks and ensures they have right working equipment. - Manage process exceptions: damages, perishables, missorts, left-behinds. - Handle late returns and required scans into the correct locations. - Support unloading of HGV / linehaul arrivals. - Maintain asset and equipment order
