We've been growing fast and will scale even faster over the next few years. We’re also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money. Check out the Seccl website https://seccl.tech/ for the latest on our products and our mission https://seccl.tech/about/ to shape the future of investments. THE ROLE We’re looking for an Operations analyst to join our Transfers team, where you’ll be responsible for processing transfers accurately and on time across multiple wrapper types. This is a fast paced and varied role that will require you to adapt quickly to changing priorities, move seamlessly between different tasks and processes, and stay focused in a busy operational environment. You’ll balance pace with precision, managing competing demands while consistently delivering high quality outcomes. Working closely with colleagues across Operations and our customer facing teams, you’ll help processes run efficiently and resolve queries and issues within agreed service levels. Alongside day to day processing, you’ll use your operational knowledge and experience to improve processes, reduce risk and support automation, helping us build a more scalable and resilient operations function for the future. ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU WILL BE… - Supporting your Senior analyst with regular business reporting - An analytical problem solver, delivery focussed and a trusted member of the team, you will support the wider business by answering queries in a timely manner - Investigating and taking end to end ownership of our transfer processes. Ensuring issues are resolved in line with regulatory and customer agreed SLAs - Reviewing operational workflow and, where possible, suggesting process improvements - Working closely with the customer, product and engineering teams to explore better ways of working and to support our scalability - Supporting with training for new members of the team - Supporting other areas of Operations as and when required THIS ROLE’S FOR YOU IF... - You have a good understanding of the platform industry - You have proven experience in handling transfers efficiently - You have the ability to identify, analyse and resolve any complex issues working to strict deadlines - You have good domain knowledge of investment platforms, particularly knowledge of the CASS environment - You have strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to describe to both technical and non-technical audiences THIS ROLE ISN’T FOR YOU IF... - You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you’ll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you’ll be expected to shape your own progression - You’re not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet - You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen - You don’t like change. You’ll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU… We offer a generous mix of benefits for the things that really matter to our people, including: 💰 A salary between £30,000 and £35,000 – dependant on experience + reviewed annually 🌴 27 days holiday + bank holidays (some can be flexible) + day off on your birthday + three
