Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced API/EDI Backend Developer located in LatAm or Europe to join our growing team at Pipe17. As an integral member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining API and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Business-to-Business (B2B) platform integrations. AI fluency: You’ve used AI tooling  for work or personal use—or you are willing to dive in and learn fast. You explore new tools, workflows, and ideas to make things more efficient, and are eager to deepen your understanding of AI and use it regularly. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement API/EDI B2B integrations into the Pipe17 platform to enable Pipe17 customers to transact with retailers and logistics providers via API/EDI   Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of Pipe17 API/EDI/B2B Roadmap  Configure and customize API?EDI mappings, transformations, and workflows to facilitate seamless data exchange between trading partners and Pipe17 systems Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of EDI/B2B processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing API/EDI/B2B integrations, including monitoring performance, addressing issues, and implementing enhancements. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in APIEDI/B2B development to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in API Platform development and bonus EDI/B2B development, including hands-on experience with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP).
