Our office, Southwest Florida OFS - Naples, is seeking a talented Nurse to join our busy specialty practice.
We are looking for a talented and skilled Nurse; you will play an essential role in ensuring the overall well-being of our patients. Your Responsibilities
You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist’s shoulders. You will be focused on ensuring that the patients' needs, concerns, and questions are answered. You will help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, being the patients go to resource during their visit which includes the following:
Assist the team in providing high-quality care to patients.
Administer medications and provide IV sedation as needed.
Monitor patients during and after surgical procedures.
Respond to patient questions and concerns.
Prepare patients for procedures and administer local anesthesia as directed.
Collect and maintain patient data in an electronic medical records system.
Adhere to all hospital/practice policies and procedures regarding patient care.
As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
Your Background
You are a resourceful Nurse who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helping the Surgeons to provide it. You're excited by the prospect of a patient leaving your office in a healthier, stronger, and more comfortable / happier being, each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities and values the chance to make an important impact.
You also have the following:
Current and valid nursing license.
At least 1-2+ years of nursing experience.
Outpatient experience
Experience in a dental or medical surgical setting preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment
Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
