Our employees currently support a variety of Defense and Civilian agencies.     Job Summary:   We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Metrics Analyst to support the National Science Foundation’s Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). The Metrics Analyst will support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies that measure the effectiveness of communications campaigns, outreach initiatives, and digital engagement activities.   This role requires strong analytical, reporting, and strategic communication skills to collect, evaluate, and interpret performance data across multiple platforms, including web, social media, media coverage, and stakeholder engagement activities. The Metrics Analyst will develop reports, dashboards, and performance insights that help leadership evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives and refine outreach strategies.     Responsibilities and Duties:   Support OLPA communications and outreach initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to digital engagement, communications campaigns, events, and media coverage.   Develop and maintain metrics frameworks that measure the performance and impact of communications strategies and outreach initiatives.   Track and analyze engagement data across digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, and media monitoring tools.   Prepare dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights.   Evaluate communication plans, campaigns, and outreach initiatives using audience feedback, engagement metrics, and performance data.   Provide recommendations to improve communication strategies, audience engagement, and campaign performance based on data-driven insights.   Support the development of audience engagement strategies by identifying trends in stakeholder engagement across policymakers, media, industry, and scientific communities.   Compile and analyze performance data across multiple outreach initiatives to support leadership decision-making and strategic communications planning.   Collaborate with communications staff, writers, editors, and digital media teams to ensure metrics and audience insights inform future campaign planning and content development.   Maintain awareness of best practices in digital analytics, communications performance measurement, and media monitoring methodologies.   Ensure reporting activities comply with applicable federal communication standards and data management practices.   These duties directly support OLPA’s mission to communicate NSF priorities effectively and strengthen engagement with policymakers, stake
