Our team members possess strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and an intellectual curiosity about financial markets.     ROLE OVERVIEW Metals Analyst | Vienna, Austria We are seeking a Metals Analyst to research fundamental supply and demand drivers in base and precious metals markets. The ideal candidate will be a junior to mid-level professional with previous experience in metals. Experience working with commodity markets is a plus but not a requirement. Prior exposure to coding and data analysis is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of metals markets (e.g., copper, aluminum, gold, etc.), including global supply/demand dynamics, mining/production trends, inventories, and trade flows. Build and maintain detailed supply/demand models, price forecasts, and scenario analyses to generate actionable trade ideas. Collaborate with traders and other researchers to refine the models. REQUIREMENTS Graduate degree in metallurgy, materials sciences and engineering, production engineering or a related field from a top university. Strong understanding of commodity markets. Excellent quantitative and modeling skills (Excel advanced; Python/R/SQL a plus). Excellent communication skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. COMPENSATION The all-inclusive salary for this position STARTS at EUR 95.000,00. Competitive and performance-based compensation package, depending upon qualifications.
