To strengthen our delivery capabilities in this domain, we are looking for an experienced MES Implementation Consultant who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, manufacturing operations and user adoption. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on the successful rollout, adoption and stabilization of a manufacturing execution platform across multiple production sites in Europe and beyond. You will work closely with production teams, method engineers, key users and project stakeholders to ensure successful implementations, operational readiness and long-term adoption. This opportunity is ideal for consultants who enjoy being present on the shop floor, guiding users through change, and helping manufacturing organizations realize tangible business value from digital manufacturing solutions. Your role As MES Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting and leading manufacturing system roll-outs at production sites. You will: Prepare and coordinate site roll-out activities Support go-live and hypercare phases Train key users and local stakeholders Facilitate workshops and knowledge transfer sessions Translate business processes into system usage and implementation activities Act as the bridge between production teams and the implementation program Monitor adoption and identify improvement opportunities Support issue resolution during roll-outs Build trust with plant managers, method engineers and operational stakeholders Travel regularly to production sites across Europe and occasionally beyond Europe Ideal backgrounds We are especially interested in professionals coming from one or more of the following backgrounds: Manufacturing Systems Consultant Manufacturing IT Consultant Digital Manufacturing Consultant Production Systems Consultant MES Implementation Consultant ERP Implementation Consultant (Manufacturing) Industrial Digitalization Consultant Smart Factory Consultant Manufacturing Transformation Consultant Process Engineer with strong IT affinity Operational Excellence Consultant with digital manufacturing exposure Must-have skills Manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments Ability to quickly understand operational processes on the shop floor Strong affinity with digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing environments Ability to think along with business stakeholders in a manufacturing context Communication & Training Experience delivering workshops, training sessions or user enablement programs Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to explain complex topics in a simple and practical way Excellent communication skills in English Implementation experience Experience in software deployments, business applications, ERP, manufacturing systems or similar implementation environments Experience supporting on-site implementations, roll-outs or go-live activities Comfortable working in structured implementation projects Able to take ownership during critical deployment phases Travel mindset Willingness to travel internationally Comfortable working on-site at production locations Flexible towards short-term travel requirements Nice-to-have skills Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Experience with SAP-integrated manufacturing environments Experience with digital manufacturing programs Experienc
