Role Summary At Wisedocs, Medical Data Annotators pair clinical expertise with technology to transform how records are handled — helping insurers, legal teams, and healthcare organizations cut through complexity, save time, and make sharper decisions. As a Medical Data Annotator , you'll review real records and produce the accurate, well-structured indexing and summaries our customers rely on to make high-stakes decisions. Just as importantly, the judgment you apply feeds directly into the models that make our platform smarter. Your work trains the product. This role suits someone with a clinical or health sciences background who cares about getting the details exactly right, and who wants their expertise to shape a product rather than disappear into a queue. What You’ll Be Doing Review live records, applying your clinical and technical experience Extract the key information that drives an accurate, usable medical summary Compile, sort, and verify data so every document stands on a clean foundation Review and document with a strong quality focus — accuracy is the product Compare prompted outputs against source records to catch technical and clinical errors before they reach a customer Partner closely with the QA team to hold and raise the quality bar Contribute directly to our software training and machine learning workflows, turning your clinical judgment into model improvements Take on other projects as the team and product evolve Other duties and projects as assigned What Experience We Need 1–2 years working directly on medical records Fluent in French (equivalent to CEFR C1 level or native speaker) This position is ideal for candidates with a health sciences background — psychology, physiotherapy, dental, or general medicine (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc., Psychology) High typing proficiency and comfort working in Office 365 Exceptional grammar, writing, communication, and critical-thinking skills A high bar for accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to exercise flexibility and judgment Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Comfort working in an AI-assisted, tech-forward environment Preferred: prior experience summarizing records for insurance, legal, or claims contexts and familiarity with QA or clinical-review workflows What We Offer Flexible hybrid environment with the option to collaborate in-person at our Toronto HQ.
