WE CELEBRATE YOU!  We are actively hiring a Medical Assistant at our Denver, CO site. Shift: Monday- Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Location: Onsite FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Compensation: $21.00-$26.00 hourly Requirements Coordinating patient flow to minimize wait times.  Rooms patients, prepares and maintains examination and treatment area before, during and after each patient activity.  Obtains vital signs and input them into EMR. Must be able to recognize and respond to any emergency situation appropriately. Reports abnormal vitals to providers.  Prepares the patient and provides information as needed.  Performs or assist physician to perform exams, test and procedures as ordered by the physician such as EKG’s or other procedures, and phlebotomy, including venipunctures, finger sticks, and injections.  Collects and process specimens.  Prepares and administers oral and parenteral medications and immunizations, if within scope of practice as directed and supervised by the physician and/or RN.  Documents patient communication and clinical treatments accurately and appropriately within the EMR.  Performs routine maintenance of instrument and clinical equipment.  Stock rooms and supplies as needed. Receives, unpacks, organizes, and puts away medical supplies.  Receives, organizes, scans, faxes and encounters documents into EMR by either filing those documents properly according to their respective section and/or taking appropriate action required by the document.  Evaluates the quality of care provided and recommends changes for improvement.  As needed, floats between departments and providers as assigned based on daily clinic needs.  Provide support and coverage of  front desk, back office, patient scheduling, and research staff
