What you'll do As the company's first mechanical engineering hire, you'll play a key role in defining the company's product. Design mounting systems that are flexible across a variety of targets and keep the sensors and computers mounted on them working within spec. Help define a manufacturing strategy for the company and inform what additional hires or partners we may need to bring our product to market. - 3D modelling and analysis (CAD and FEA) - Thermal management - Computational fluid dynamics - Electronics enclosures - Environmental sealing - Vibration analysis / shock analysis - Manufacturing / design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) - EMC / EMI / EFI - Fatigue analysis
