Summary of Responsibility: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Mechanical Assembler assembles pre-picked raw materials into completed assemblies and puts assemblies into designated areas. This individual is also responsible for picking raw material when pre-picking is unavailable or unnecessary for specific components. This position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing with potential for advancement. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting. What You Will Contribute: · Review and follow production work orders and associated documentation (e.g., Bills of Materials, schematics, blueprints) · Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately · Identify and distinguish raw materials using part numbering systems and store in correct locations · Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding assembly instructions, workflow adjustments, and scheduling · Will be required to pass training onsite with forklifts, cranes, baler and compactors at location. · Properly use hand and powered tools daily and build assemblies in designated areas. · Properly use precision tools and measuring devices needed per work cell or area. · Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment · Adhere to all established safety guidelines and protocols · Able to lift Other Functions: Perform related duties as required Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour The duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
