ESTIMATED PAY RANGE Engineer I: $34.62–$40.38/hour Engineer II: $38.46–$44.23/hour Engineer III: $43.27–$49.04/hour Senior Engineer: $46.63–$53.85/hour Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available. JOB SUMMARY As a  Manufacturing Engineer - Continuous Improvement in Faribault, MN , you will: Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives to improve workstation safety, ergonomics, manufacturability, labor efficiency, and gross margin within the Power Test / Loadbanks value stream Identify, assess, and prioritize engineering‑addressable hazards, implementing engineering controls that eliminate or reduce workplace risks Redesign processes, tooling, and workstations to reduce labor content, minimize assembly variation, and enhance process consistency Support and execute value engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives, validating operational, ergonomic, and financial benefits of implemented improvements Drive measurable performance gains through structured evaluation, implementation, and validation of engineering solutions Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in Northfield, Owatonna, Dundas, Medford, Lakeville, Farmington, Waseca, and Lonsdale, and the greater southern Twin Cities metro Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering required Background in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering Experience improving workstation safety, ergonomics, and hazard mitigation Skilled in process redesign, tooling development, and workstation optimization Ability to identify labor inefficiencies and reduce assembly variation through engineering solutions Experience supporting value engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives Strong analytical skills fo
