Job Goals     Collaboration with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement and support production operations. Ensure manufacturability of new products (DFM – Design for Manufacturability). Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.   Key Tasks Review engineering drawings and provide feedback to optimize designs for production. Design and implement manufacturing processes, tools and equipment. Develop, implement and refine manufacturing processes for new and existing products. Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and work instructions. Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment. Prepare reports on process performance and improvement of metrics. Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations. Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles. Collaborate with the quality team to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.   Competencies & Duties       Working independently and responsibly. Perform tasks as described above. Proactive communication when issues arise, or help is needed. Compliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions. International travel required of up to 25% of employee’ working hours.   Qualifications              Completed higher education (e.g. ETH, HTL). At a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position. Thorough knowledge of production and assembly processes and coresponding work requirements, preferably in the aviation industry. Sound technical and practical understanding of complex mechanical, mechatronic and electrical systems.  Thorough knowledge of CAD software (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, etc.). Process-oriented and structured work methods.  Good language skills in English (oral and written).  Location: On-site in Näfels | Bilten, Switzerland. Eligibility: Swiss or EU citizens only.
