Description
We are looking for an entry-level Production Associate to join our Compressor and Sub-Assembly team at Bluefors. In this role, you will support key manufacturing operations that are critical to delivering high-quality products while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Your tasks will include assisting and supporting various levels of production within compressor and sub-assembly operations, ensuring workflows run smoothly and efficiently. You will help maintain proper inventory levels by organizing and tracking materials needed for production. In addition, you will be responsible for keeping your work area, tools, and parts clean and well-organized to support safety and productivity standards. You may also take on additional duties assigned to support the broader production team and meet operational goals. We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or GED, along with some related experience or training in a manufacturing or technical environment. You should have the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and operational and safety documents. Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions and decimals, are essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and show a willingness to learn. You should be dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining clear communication and a strong commitment to safety. We also appreciate candidates who have hands-on experience with equipment such as bandsaws and presses, as well as those with a natural aptitude for technical or mechanical work.
