We are always looking for individuals who share these values and who are looking to further their careers in a unique and rapidly growing organization!   The Opportunity: Shipfusion is looking for a Dev Support Manager to lead our Development Support function across our PHP, MySQL, and React platform. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering of the company, you'll lead the team responsible for investigating production issues, supporting customer-impacting incidents, reducing technical debt, and improving the overall health of our platform. In this role you will… Lead the Development Support team responsible for production issues, bug fixes, investigations, and platform stability. Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex production issues. Write high-quality production code in PHP and React while maintaining best engineering practices. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across PHP applications, MySQL databases, APIs, and frontend applications. Identify recurring support issues and drive permanent engineering solutions rather than temporary fixes. Conduct code reviews with a focus on maintainability, performance, security, and consistency. Mentor junior and intermediate developers through technical guidance and coaching. Help establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices. Partner with Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Engineering to prioritize production issues. Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging capabilities across the platform. Own production deployments and assist with release management. Improve internal tooling to increase developer productivity. Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements to scalability and reliability. Monitor system health, application performance, and database performance. Help reduce technical debt through continuous improvement initiatives. Document recurring issues, troubleshooting guides, and engineering knowledge. Support incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.   Our Technology Stack: PHP React MySQL HTML5 / JavaScript REST APIs Docker AWS Git RabbitMQ   What you'll bring to the team (Required Skills) :  3-5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience developing production applications using PHP. Strong knowledge of MySQL, query optimization, indexing, and database performance. Experience building modern frontend applications using React. Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across full-stack applications. Experience leading developers or technical support teams. Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable application design. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience performing code reviews and mentoring developers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality execution.   Nice to have Experience with Docker and containerized development environments. Experience with AWS infrastructure. Experience with message queue systems Experience building monitoring and observability solutions. Experience working within Agile software development teams.
