Currently looking for an Advanced Maintenance Technician/ Lead. We have a location in Louisville, KY, and a location in Cincinnati, OH, and are open to having someone at either location. Possesses a high energy level with an inquisitive mental ability. Can both take and give direction, with a customer-focus while living out our core values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Needed experience is 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Bluecrest and/or Pitney Bowes inserters (preferred). Other relevant manufacturers include Bell & Howell, Kern, Mailcrafter, etc. · Experience and familiarity with IWCO, Japs-Olsen, RRD, Quad, Amsive, O’Neil and other companies using similar equipment is a plus. · As needs require, must be able to work 2-3 days per week in each plant to ensure key objectives are being met. · Possesses the communication and teamwork skills needed to effectively lead the effectiveness of our Maintenance Technicians in each plant · Effectively work with other departments across the organization. · All day-to-day activities are expected to reduce equipment downtime, improve throughput, and operate safely. · Perform repairs correctly with a long-term fix mentality. · Create and execute a detailed preventative maintenance program. · Develop and participate in a 24/7 emergency coverage as is needed · Maintain a spare parts inventory that supports the departmental goals. · Personally participate in all equipment installations and start-ups. · Maintenance shops are to be clean, organized, and safe. · Interact with contractors and vendors issuing purchase orders as is needed. Must be able to hold them accountable for key deliverables. · Address issues that arise in other departments, including the building and grounds. · Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required; 3 – 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions. Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations. Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements and safety precautions related to facilities management. Must be well organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter. Strong procurement and negotiation skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to read fine print. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and sales tax. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
