The role of the Heating Maintenance Technician is to be fully responsible for heating plant monitoring and ensuring that all systems are operating optimally. Working closely with the maintenance team this role will also perform onsite installations and maintenance of biomass systems. The aim is to continuously work towards and support the improvement of the maintenance service and customer experience. Key Accountabilities Responsible for heating plant monitoring and ensuring that the system is operating optimally. Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for heating systems. Utilises mechanical/plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team. Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting. Check and provide complete documentation to clients. Carry out site root cause analysis. Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults. Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports. Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
