Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Kotka, Finland Employment type: Full-time, permanent contract Start date : Middle of July / End of July About Easpring Finland Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka to meet the growing demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active materials required for electric vehicle batteries. About the Role We are looking for a responsible Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at our battery materials facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience and a strong safety awareness. Key Responsibilities - Perform daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks. - Troubleshoot equipment issues and report abnormalities promptly. - Guide production operators in correct equipment use and autonomous maintenance. - Complete assigned repair tasks on time and prevent unexpected breakdowns. - Maintain accurate inspection and repair records and support 5S onsite management. - Control maintenance costs, manage spare parts, and avoid waste. - Comply with company safety, health, and environmental policies. - Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors. Requirements - College diploma or above in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Electrician or welding certificate preferred. - Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in the factory. - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. - Strong English language skills are required.
