To bring fearless innovation forward and push boundaries past where we thought they could go.  Position Overview The Logistics Director leads K18’s end-to-end logistics organization — warehousing, distribution, transportation, freight, customs, and order fulfillment — across domestic and international networks. This role owns the strategy, performance, and cost management of the logistics function and the relationships with 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Leading a team of managers (Freight & Customs, Logistics/Fulfillment, and Transportation), the Director sets operating standards, drives continuous improvement, and ensures on-time, in-full, and compliant delivery while protecting service levels and controlling landed cost. This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership role accountable for scaling logistics as K18 grows across regions and channels. Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Build, lead, and develop the logistics team (Freight & Customs, Fulfillment/Logistics, and Transportation), setting goals, KPIs, and development plans. Define and execute the logistics strategy across warehousing, distribution, transportation, freight, and customs to support company growth and regional expansion. Own the logistics operating budget and drive cost-to-serve optimization across parcel, LTL/FTL, ocean, and air. Ensure process are documented and continuously improved upon. Partner with Operations, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service leadership to align logistics with business objectives. Distribution & Fulfillment Oversee 3PL and warehouse partners across North America, UK, and EU, ensuring accuracy, throughput, and OTIF performance. Own the full order cycle — order management, shipment scheduling, and documentation — to protect service levels and revenue capture. Establish and monitor logistics performance metrics and dashboards; drive corrective action and continuous improvement. Freight, Customs & International Provide oversight of international and domestic freight, imports/exports, customs compliance, and duty programs through the Freight & Customs Manager. Ensure compliance with all trade, customs, and international regulations (Incoterms, HS classification, country-of-origin documentation). Optimize lane performance, carrier mix, and freight cost through data-driven analysis. Cost, Finance & Month-End Own logistics cost management; review and approve freight, 3PL, and customs invoices and accruals. Support end-of-month close by ensuring cost inputs, invoicing records, and inventory valuation data are accurate and complete. Communicate cost variances, risks, and savings opportunities to leadership. Ensure chargeback are analyzed and challenges in a timely manner in order to protect K18 profitability Risk & Compliance Identify and mitigate logistics risks — supply chain disruption, tariff changes, capacity constraints, and compliance issues. Ensure adherence to ISO, health and safety, and relevant trade standards. Other Duties as Required Perform additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by management.
