Must be highly motivated and willing to learn new concepts and work independently. Key Responsibilities: Design, create, maintain and troubleshoot litigation support databases in various litigation support software; such as Logikcull, Relativity, Ipro for Desktop, and Reveal. Attend vendor webinars at the direction of the Litigation Support Dept. Supervisor’s request to learn about upcoming technologies in order to be informed of same for incoming case team requests. Work with clients, in-house counsel and other IT managers, to design e-discovery strategies and collect data. Design and implement new internal policies and procedures for litigation support, including drafting indexes for social media collections, deposition video editing, etc. Perform hardware and software installations as needed, assist case teams with operation of proprietary video player software included with surveillance videos. Assist in the development and implementation of eDiscovery protocols and best practices. Experienced or certified in various e-discovery protocols and the ability to explain these to members of the firm, such as: analysis of metadata, client collection of their own data vs. a third party vendor collection, and formatting options for outgoing productions to opposing counsel and other parties. Leadership, training, and support for new co-workers and other members of the firm; including above-mentioned skills and preparation of iManageShare, Box, or Dropbox links for transmittal of data into/out of the firm’s database, as requested by case teams. Qualifications Strategic and tactical analytic skills that are meticulous and thorough Highly proficient in navigating social media Proficient in editing media files Curiosity and passion for data, technology, and problem solving Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and the ability to interact with people within the firm, outside counsel, and clients Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in working in an office environment. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to get projects, upgrades, and support services completed in a timely fashion Past law firm experience a big plus Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required eDiscovery-related certifications a big plus (ACEDs, etc.) Wilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support our attorneys both professionally and personally.
