ABOUT THE ROLE The Assistant Engineer is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance, operation, and repair of all vessel systems onboard ships, including hotel equipment, and as directed by the Chief Engineer. Capable to work under pressure, independently, and without supervision. The Assistant Engineer works 12 hours per day: approximately 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off rotational schedule.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES
