Description
Purpose of the Role The Legal Intern supports the Legal Function of PASHA Financial Holding in day-to-day legal, corporate governance, and administrative matters. The intern assists with reviewing and organising legal documents, preparing draft letters, resolutions, internal notes, and legal memoranda, maintaining legal registers and archives, and supporting contract review processes. The role also includes assisting with corporate documentation related to PASHA Financial Holding and its subsidiaries, coordinating with internal teams on legal requests, conducting basic legal research, and supporting the Legal Function in ensuring proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with internal procedures. Key Responsibilities Drafting and Document Support • Assist in drafting and reviewing basic legal documents, letters, resolutions, and internal correspondence • Support contract review, document comparison, and proofreading processes Legal Research • Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and governance matters Records and Administration • Maintain legal registers, document trackers, and filing systems • Support preparation of corporate governance documents and shareholder-related and board-related materials Coordination • Coordinate with internal departments and subsidiaries on routine legal requests Key Relationships The intern works closely with internal departments and subsidiary teams across PASHA Financial Holding, and reports to the Head of Legal. Requirements Required: • Currently enrolled in a law programme or a recent law graduate • Good command of Azerbaijani and English • Basic understanding of corporate and commercial law • Knowledge of the Azerbaijan Civil Code and other relevant legislation • Strong attention to detail and drafting skills • Proficiency in MS Office applications • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to learning Preferred: • Proficiency in Russian
