Purpose of Position The Lead, Project Manager is a senior individual contributor within EdReports’ Project Management function. This role leads delivery for complex, cross-functional initiatives and serves as a key partner to Product Managers, functional leaders, and the Director of Project Management. The Lead, Project Manager plays a central role in translating priorities and roadmaps into coordinated execution across teams. This role models strong project management and embedded Product Operations practices, balancing hands-on delivery leadership with mentorship and enablement of others. While the Lead, Project Manager does not set the overall delivery strategy for the organization, they meaningfully influence the adoption and continuous improvement of delivery practices across teams in partnership with the Director, Project Management. Key Responsibilities & Outcomes Responsibilities: Lead delivery planning and execution for complex initiatives, pilots, or workstreams, translating product priorities into clear milestones, timelines, and commitments. Partner closely with Product Managers and cross-functional leaders to align delivery plans with roadmap intent, governance expectations, and evolving priorities. Surface and manage risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints while facilitating informed tradeoff decisions and timely escalation when needed. Facilitate key delivery rituals such as kickoffs, planning sessions, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination meetings that promote transparency, continuous learning, and iterative improvement across teams. Facilitate change management efforts that support the adoption of new ways of working, helping teams navigate organizational and process changes while maintaining clarity, alignment, and momentum.  Maintain delivery artifacts, documentation, and tools to ensure accuracy, transparency, and shared understanding across teams. Contribute to portfolio planning, intake, and prioritization processes by synthesizing inputs and preparing decision-ready information. Provide clear delivery updates and insights to senior leaders in partnership with the Director of Project Management. Mentor and support Associate Project Managers through modeling strong delivery practices, providing feedback, and sharing problem-solving approaches. Identify opportunities to improve delivery systems, processes, and tools, piloting refinements that strengthen execution without creating unnecessary process overhead. Other relevant duties as assigned to support the organization's strategic goals, with the expectation that all EdReports employees remain flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities.
