[About the role] We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to take ownership of a complex product area within Digital Access and to build the product function around it. This includes setting the operating model, the ceremonies, and the bar for product craft, and bringing the methodology and rigour of a modern product company to an IMDA core platform. You would also need to coordinate with multiple WOG product teams to bring a best of class delivery to IMDA. This is a forward-deployed role : you will be a GovTech product leader embedded within Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), working day-to-day alongside agency stakeholders, policy owners, and design and engineering teams. The role blends deep, hands-on product ownership with leadership of a small and growing team of product managers. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, shape the direction of your area, and invest meaningfully in the people around you. [What you will be working on]   Building the product function You will establish how product is done on Digital Access — the operating model, the ceremonies, the discovery and delivery rhythm, and the standards for prioritisation and product craft. You will lead and grow a small team of product managers, set the bar for product thinking and execution, and create genuine opportunities for them to stretch. Just as importantly, you will partner with the existing business analysts and engineers as the team builds its product practice together — identifying those with product-management potential and coaching them toward it. You will contribute to raising hiring and assessment standards as the team scales. Product strategy & execution You will own the strategy and roadmap for your product area — translating complex business, regulatory, and technical inputs into a sequenced, measurable plan. You will set OKRs and success metrics, drive discovery, and make clear, well-documented prioritisation trade-offs. Drawing on user research, industry feedback, and platform data, you will validate or rule out ideas before development begins, and lead end-to-end execution to a high standard of quality, security, accessibility, and compliance. You will champion speed and simplicity within a large problem space while remaining clear-eyed about technical debt.
