Description
Tech-first. Ego-free. User-obsessed. Over one million Danes use Skatteguiden to understand and optimise their taxes. We automate tax tracking, surface deductions people didn't know they had, and give users the insights they need to make better financial decisions — all directly connected to the Danish tax authority. We're an independent company of around 50 people based in Copenhagen, with a 4.7-star rating and a simple mission: make financial insight accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford an accountant. The role We need someone who owns product analytics — not just executes it. You'll set the direction for how Skatteguiden uses data to understand its users and make product decisions, and you'll be the person who raises the bar for what good analytics looks like here. You'll work closely with product managers across our product teams and have real influence on what gets built and why. This isn't a support function. It's a lead role with ownership. What you'll be working on Own the product analytics function — define the strategy, set the standards, and drive adoption across product teams Define and maintain core product metrics and KPIs across the organisation Design and run experiments — from hypothesis to conclusion Analyse user behaviour and funnels to identify growth opportunities and friction points Build scalable dashboards and reporting in close collaboration with the data team Translate findings into concrete recommendations for product leadership and senior stakeholders What you bring Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data modelling Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Lightdash, Evidence or comparable tooling. Solid product analytics experience — you've worked closely with product teams and understand what drives a digital product Strong experimentation design and statistical analysis skills A track record of owning a product analytics function, not just contributing to one Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-directed and structured — you can take an ambiguous question and turn it into a sharp analysis Nice to have Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse Experience with Lightdash, Tableau, or comparable BI tools Python for data processing and analysis What we offer Ownership of the product analytics function at one of Denmark's fastest-growing fintech companies Direct influence on product direction and a seat at the table where decisions are made A strong data team with high professional standards and a modern tech stack The opportunity to build something — not inherit a finished function Office first in Copenhagen — five minutes from Rådhuspladsen, lunch at Claus Meyer, dinner covered if the day runs long Practical Start: As soon as possible Reports to: Head of Data & Operations Planning Salary: Competitive and based on experience Our Lean Recruitment Process Screening call with Christian Payne, 30 min (online) 45-minute onsite meeting with hiring manager and product manager 1-hour onsite case session with hiring manager and team member, followed by a short conversation with Nikolai (CEO), 30 min Note regarding applications: Please note, due to summer holidays/vacation, all applications will be reviewed from August 3rd onwards. Therefore, if you apply during July, please expect a delay in our getting back to you.
