Role Summary Greentank Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to act as design expert and a technical lead providing guidance, supervision and design oversight to the broader mechanical team. You will also work as a partner and enabler to the R&D team in region, providing support on mechanical solutions to translate cutting-edge heating technologies from lab validation to high-volume mass production. The successful candidate needs to be ready to define the future standards of inhalation technology, shaping our product roadmap and elevating the technical capabilities of our engineering team. Role Responsibilities System Architecture & Core Design Ownership Own the complete mechanical system architecture of roadmap approved vaping devices including structural chassis, precision airflow paths, leakage-proof sealing systems, and thermal interface design between heaters and device exteriors Lead performance optimization of mechanical structures to ensure industry-leading atomization performance, device reliability, and end-user experience Review and sign off on critical engineering decisions for all product programs Support and feed into front-end-innovation to develop the next generations of technologies and systems Technical Authority & Peer Guidance Lead rigorous peer design reviews for all projects, ensuring all design solutions meet quality, performance, manufacturability, and safety standards Develop and enforce standardized workflows and best practices for CAD modeling, tolerance stack analysis, GD&T application, and engineering documentation management Drive continuous technical improvement across the team by sharing knowledge, conducting technical training sessions, and benchmarking industry best practices Cross-Functional Integration Collaborate closely with Electrical Engineering (EE) and Firmware teams to ensure mechanical enclosures fully support PCBA layout constraints, battery safety requirements, and sensor placement Partner with supply chain and manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges, optimize component sourcing, and accelerate time-to-market Work with quality assurance teams to define mechanical reliability test standards and resolve field failure issues through systematic root cause analysis (RCA) Heating Technology Enablement Support heater R&D and technology development teams to enable some advanced technologies from mechanical design, simulation, experiment, prototyping or ideation perspective.
