Overview of Role The KYC Team is our first line of defence against money laundering. As a KYC Agent , you will be responsible for liaising with customers to collect customer due diligence documentation for the KYC team. This is a full-time position that will be based in Malta, therefore candidates must be based in Malta. Key Responsibilities Carrying out customer due diligence in line with the KYC procedures of the Company, including the collection of KYC documentation and the verification of that documentation by appropriate means. Assisting the KYC Team with the carrying out of their duties by liaising with users to collect customer due diligence documentation. Taking and making phone calls from/to users to assist said users with any questions/issues they may have relative to the customer due diligence process. Ensure that documentation is stored in accordance with the Company’s record keeping policy. Submitting internal reports to the MLRO when there is suspicion/knowledge of ML/FT. Carrying out PEP, Sanction and Adverse Media checks. Skills and Attributes Must be fluent in English. German language fluency will be considered an asset. Candidate must be based and eligible to work in Malta. Outstanding written and oral communication. Organised and reliable with attention to detail – can handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Positive, ‘make it work’ attitude. Ability to work independently and in team-based environments Experience No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.
