What You’ll Be Doing: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java as your core language Build and support backend services and integrate with SQL databases Apply best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimisation Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Tech Stack You’ll Be Using: Languages: Java (primary), SQL, Python Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs Cloud: AWS Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence Requirements What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (commercial experience preferred) Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases Experience working with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs Exposure to Python for scripting or automation is beneficial Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms Experience working in agile development environments Ability to work onsite in Newcastle 5 days a week or relocate A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continually improve Benefits Why Join Us?
