ROLE MISSION The IT Operations Support Admin is responsible for ensuring that Aplazo’s technology environment operates securely, efficiently, and reliably. This role owns day-to-day IT Operations, including endpoint management, user support, networking, security tooling, and compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience in fintechs or high-growth startups, and a strong ownership mindset to lead IT Operations, improve processes, and deliver an excellent employee experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IT OPERATIONS & SUPPORT - Provide technical support to employees across hardware, software, operating systems, networking, and productivity tools. - Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning, access management, and asset recovery. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, Wi-Fi, VPNs, printers, conference room technology, and business applications. - Provide hands-on, on-site technical support for critical personnel and executives, ensuring priority resolution and minimal downtime. SYSTEMS & ENDPOINT MANAGEMENT - Administer and support macOS (primarily) and Windows environments. - Manage Google Workspace and enterprise SaaS platforms, including user lifecycle management, groups, permissions, security configurations, licensing administration, and cost optimization initiatives for tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) and other business-critical applications. - Administer MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or similar solutions. - Manage endpoint security solutions, including EDR and antimalware tools. - Ensure all devices comply with company security standards and policies. NETWORK & SECURITY - Administer and troubleshoot corporate network environments, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls. - Collaborate with Security and Engineering teams to strengthen the company’s security posture. DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE - Maintain and regularly update technical documentation, asset inventories, network diagrams, security configurations, and operational procedures, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and internal security standards. - Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring IT activities. - Support audits and compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and internal security controls. REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE - 4+ years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Endpoint Management. - Experience working in fintechs, startups, or fast-growing technology companies. - Experience supporting hybrid and remote work environments. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS administration and troubleshooting. - Advanced Google Workspace administration experience. - Experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or similar solutions. - Experience managing EDR, antimalware, and endpoint security technologies. - Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, switching, routing fundamentals, and firewalls. - Experience using Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems. - Scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages. - Strong documentation, process management, and troubleshooting skills. - Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and PCI DSS controls, audits, and compliance requirements. LANGUAGE - Fluent English (required). Ability to participate in meetings, communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders, and create technical documentation in English. NICE TO HAVE - Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Jamf, Google Workspace, ITIL, Security+, or equivalent. - Experience supporting security audits and compliance programs.
