Description
Our client, part of one of the largest group in Mauritius, is recruiting an IT Applications Analyst. JOB PURPOSE The IT Applications Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of ERP, custom applications, and Data Analytics system. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ERP • Manage and maintain ERP systems and other custom applications • Analyse business requirements, define and implement solutions • Work with end-users and ERP Service Provider for delivery of solutions • Provide support and training to users on ERP, custom applications Data Analytics • Design, develop and Maintain Data Analytics reports • Provide support and training on Reporting tool • Maintain and enhance data warehouse • Maintain data analytics platforms Technical and Administrative Support • Perform problem solving and assistance on various software applications for users of company • Provide training to end users • Assist in the tracking and monitoring of IT department expenses • Assist in review of and evaluation of technology solutions • Assist in research and development and innovation initiatives and in implementation of new technologies • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned • Perform administrative duties of the IT department Service Execellence • Attend to specific needs of customers (internal & external) as well as third parties and ensure that queries and assistance are provided in a timely manner and in compliance with service standards set • Ensure that the service level provided is up to expectations and standards set and relay any matter impeding service level to Management • Engage and collaborate with Management on Service Excellence initiatives Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER PREREQUISITES Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent Experience · 3-5 years’ experience · Knowledge in ERP systems and Reporting tools · Exposure to the FMCG or manufacturing sector would constitute as an advantage Technical Knowledge & Skills · Dynamic and motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude · Effective communication, organisational and time management skills · Detail-oriented, proactive and result oriented · Good critical thinking ability and able to work with minimal supervision · Good understanding of administrative and clerical procedures · Ability to work under pressure We reserve the right: · To call only the shortlisted candidates for interview. · Not to make any appointment following this advertisement nor to assign any reason whatsoever for accepting or rejecting any candidate.
