The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Inventory & Operations Departments in managing the day-to-day operations of the distribution process for all of our cannabis products, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, optimizing inventory levels, managing logistics service providers, implementing technology solutions to improve distribution processes, managing distribution and delivery routes, managing delivery drivers with a focus on compliance and accuracy, tracking performance metrics for the distribution network, and fulfilling orders. This role is Monday through Friday, day shift.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to support and oversee and optimize the distribution process for all cannabis products
Process and manage cannabis product orders, ensuring accurate fulfillment and invoicing
Coordinate timely delivery of orders while minimizing associated storage costs
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth distribution operations
Oversee logistics service providers, implement technology solutions, and manage distribution routes and delivery drivers
Monitor and analyze performance metrics to improve the efficiency of the distribution network
Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing the cannabis industry
You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:
You’ve worked 2+ years in a high pace environment that required a high attention to detail, ideally in cannabis, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
You have experience using inventory management systems and order processing software
You have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
You have strong understanding of logistics service provider management, delivery driver management, and compliance with state and federal regulations
You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
