Community Action Works is hiring Research and Organizing interns to assist our community organizing efforts and program work. Environmental threats exist in communities of all kinds across the country. Taking on landfill operators, pipeline builders, or other threats to our environment is not easy, but when community members are given the necessary training and resources, they can work together to be successful and win. Since 1987, our team has worked with groups in more than 1,000 communities and provided training and other resources to help over 20,000 people across the country take on polluters and win. Interns will primarily assist in Community Action Works’ ongoing program activities and will be responsible for helping to identify and support communities in need of Community Action Works’ assistance.
