About the Team
Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (m/f/d) Development Engineer. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.
Your Tasks
Assist an experienced designer in developing practical design solutions from concept, through detail design to manufacturing drawings and prototyping
Participate in design reviews with all stakeholders from peer designers to management
Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for input into the procurement process
Create technical documentation on existing and new designs
Assist in actual hands-on tasks such as assembly and testing
Your Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Available for an internship duration of at least 5–6 months
Skilled with CAD software
Experience with Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal) highly recommended
Experience with Teamcenter is a plus
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context
Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting
Being part of a rocketry student team, Formula Student or similar is a strong plus
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English)
Self-motivated, resilient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
