Overview of the position
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to design and deliver automation, tools, and AI-enabled workflows that solve real business problems.
This is a hands-on role where you will:
Work closely with stakeholders across the business
Rapidly prototype and deliver solutions
Use modern platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, automation tools, and AI technologies
Build solutions that are used in practice and deliver immediate impact
You will also act as a key technical contributor for the team and work closely with the wider AI and Engineering organisation to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to best practices.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Design and deliver automation, tools, and AI-enabled solutions
Translate business needs into practical, working solutions
Rapidly prototype and iterate: idea → working solution → improved solution
Build integrations and workflows connecting data, systems, and platforms
Use modern platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, APIs) to deliver solutions
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to refine and improve outputs
Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation at scale
Contribute to reusable components, standards, and best practices
Build and maintain integrations across systems and platforms, including APIs, data flows, and workflows
Apply reliable engineering practices (e.g. error handling, validation, retries) to ensure solutions work in real-world conditions
Write clean, well-structured code (e.g. Python) using AI-assisted development tools where appropriate to accelerate delivery
Support testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain solution performance and reliability
Document solutions, workflows, and key logic to support reuse and maintainability
Technical Expertise & Ownership
You will act as the technical expert within the team , bringing depth in both building and reviewing solutions.
