About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Integration Analyst to join the team in Lisbon. This role is central to the client's technical expansion, focusing on the end-to-end lifecycle of integrations with Payment Service Providers (PSPs). The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial data flows and the technical rigor required to maintain a secure, scalable payments ecosystem.
The Integration Analyst serves as the primary technical liaison between external financial partners and client's internal engineering teams. You will be responsible for translating complex PSP requirements into precise technical specifications, ensuring that all integrations ranging from card processing to emerging payment methods are architecturally sound and meet our client's high standards for reliability and business value.

What You Will Do
Engage with external PSPs to conduct thorough analysis of their technical requirements and integration protocols
Develop detailed system designs, workflows, and technical specifications to meet business needs
Create detailed API request/response mappings and Sequence Diagrams
Coordinate with internal product and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions fulfill strategic and compliance requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals
Work closely with developers, testers, and product teams to ensure successful system implementations
Provide expert guidance to the development team throughout the build phase
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test cases and validating complex transaction flows
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, user guides, and technical manuals
Drive efficiency by identifying opportunities for system improvements and workflow optimization
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience operating as an Integration Analyst, System Analyst, or in an identical technical capacity.
Deep background within the financial technology sector coupled with extensive hands-on experience utilizing application programming interfaces (APIs) is mandatory.
Demonstrated competency in requirement elicitation, structural system modeling, and procedural optimization.
Advanced proficiency utilizing SQL, system modeling frameworks such as UML or BPMN, and corporate tracking platforms like JIRA and Confluence.
Proven history operating productively within Agile and Scrum project management frameworks.
Superior analytical, structured problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills to successfully bridge communication gaps between technical engineers and corporate business units.
Advanced professional fluency in the English language.
Prior experience handling cryptocurrency networks, credit card processing systems, or PCI DSS compliance frameworks is highly advantageous.
